Maltese Rescue was formed for the charitable purpose of rescuing Maltese and Maltese mixes which are homeless or soon-to-be homeless, including those found in animal shelters and those relinquished by their owners. The dogs are provided with care, training and necessary medical care including spay/neutering. Maltese rescue also focuses on education of the public regarding breed characteristics, responsible dog ownership, training and humane care of a Maltese.
