USHUAIA | Tierra del Fuego National Park
Visit Tierra del Fuego, see the End of the World sign, explore forests, bays, and lakes, and send a postcard from Ushuaia!
Experience the true End of the World and the thrill of being in a unique, magical place. No traveler in Ushuaia should leave without visiting the end of the Pan-American route, which begins in Alaska and stretches over 15,000 kilometers to Tierra del Fuego National Park—the perfect spot to capture a photo that signifies arrival at the End of the World. Plus, Antarctica is just 1,000 kilometers away.
Enjoy an early morning pick-up for a trip to Tierra del Fuego National Park, 12 kilometers from downtown Ushuaia. Before entering the park, you'll enjoy a brief walk in the Fuegian forest (note that this may be canceled in winter due to weather). Afterward, you'll continue to Ensenada, a stunning bay that showcases the Andes, sub-Antarctic forest, and sea, creating a unique ecosystem. Explore archaeological remains of the native people and visit the last post office in America, where postcards can be sent (note: this may be closed in winter). The tour will also take you to other scenic viewpoints to appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna, including Acigami Glacier Lake and Lapataia Bay, where the sign marking the end of the Pan-American route can be seen.
