  • Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)

Jaipur’s most iconic landmark features a five-story pink sandstone facade with 953 intricately carved jharokha windows, originally designed to allow royal women to observe street festivities unseen.
  • City Palace & Jantar Mantar

Located in the heart of the Old City, the royal City Palace complex showcases a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, museums, and ornate peacock gates, right next to the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory.

When to Visit Jaipur

  • Winter (December – February)

Winter is the best and most popular season to visit Jaipur, with pleasant daytime temperatures ranging from 50°F to 80°F (10°C to 27°C). Sunny afternoons are ideal for exploring hilltop forts like Amber Fort and Nahargarh Fort, while evenings are cool and crisp. The city also hosts major cultural events like the renowned Jaipur Literature Festival in January.
  • Spring (March – May)

Spring starts comfortably in March with vibrant celebrations like Holi and the Gangaur Festival, before temperatures climb steadily into April and May, often reaching 95°F to 105°F (35°C to 41°C). Early morning sightseeing and evening bazaar walks are best as the days grow warmer, and crowds are smaller than in peak winter.
  • Summer (June – August)

Early summer in June is hot and dry with temperatures frequently above 104°F (40°C), followed by the monsoon showers in July and August. The rains bring welcome relief to the desert heat and turn the surrounding Aravalli Hills lush and green, making scenic drives to the forts and Jal Mahal especially picturesque.
  • Autumn (September – November)

Autumn brings receding rains, clear blue skies, and gradually cooling temperatures ranging from 70°F to 92°F (21°C to 33°C). By October and November, the weather is wonderful for outdoor sightseeing and heritage walks, and the entire Pink City lights up spectacularly for Dussehra and Diwali festivities.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.

We had an amazing time flying over the beautiful canyons, admiring the waterfalls from above. While we are both quite adventurous, I have an occasional fear of heights. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, putting our minds perfectly at ease and making the best experience for us possible.

This was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had! We extended our trip into a two-tank dive and got to explore the surrounding areas of the garden eel bay before going into our manta show.

A wedding guest bought this voucher for me and my husband from our wedding registry via The Knot. We had Chiqui and Jonathan as our guides and they were great! Very personable and knowledgeable. They provided a cooler with water, soda and beer.

The catamaran was smooth and clean. The food was wonderful. The captain and staff were friendly and engaging. We could have have asked for a more fun and educational experience around the island. The snorkeling was wonderful with tons of fish, corral and eels.

Francesca, our guide, was super personable and knowledgeable about the city and legends of Venice. The tour started near the train station and followed through all the alleys and streets to San Marco Square. The weather and the sunset were absolutely beautiful as well.
