About

Death Valley National Park

Death Valley is on the border of California and Nevada. The park is known for it’s harsh (hot and dry) climate and for being the lowest point in North America. While having those low spots throughout much of the park, Telescope Peak is a mountain in the park that reaches an altitude of 11,049 feet. Death Valley is also the hottest and driest place in North America.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.
