  • Marino Bellena National Park

    Famous for the humpback whales that migrate here, this marine reserve is a favorite for avid whale watchers. The best times to visit are between December and April and July and November—when the whales come in to calve.
  • Whale’s Tail

    True to its nature, the shape of the beach harkens the spirit of the whale—literally. Two beaches come together to form one in the figure of a whale’s tail. Walking out to the tip of the tail is something everyone here must do.
  • Envision Festival

    A four-day festival focusing on inner health and wellbeing, this takes place on the beach and features a wide array of events and activities, to include: concerts, yoga, fire dancing, meditation among a host of other things.

    Uvita's winter, from December to February, offers warm and pleasant weather with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 90s Fahrenheit. It's an ideal time to visit this coastal town as it allows for beach relaxation and outdoor adventures. Winter is perfect for exploring Marino Ballena National Park, known for its iconic whale tail-shaped sandbar and abundant marine life. Visitors can indulge in activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.
  • Spring

    Spring in Uvita, from March to May, brings slightly warmer temperatures with highs in the 80s to mid-90s Fahrenheit. The landscape remains lush and green from the previous rainy season. Spring is ideal for whale watching, as humpback whales pass through the region during their migration. Visitors can take boat tours to observe these majestic creatures up close. The nearby Nauyaca Waterfalls are also worth exploring for their breathtaking beauty and natural pools.

    Uvita's summer, from June to August, marks the beginning of the rainy season. While it can be hot and humid with temperatures in the 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit, it also provides a refreshing atmosphere. What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.

We had an amazing time flying over the beautiful canyons, admiring the waterfalls from above. While we are both quite adventurous, I have an occasional fear of heights. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, putting our minds perfectly at ease and making the best experience for us possible.

This was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had! We extended our trip into a two-tank dive and got to explore the surrounding areas of the garden eel bay before going into our manta show.

This was one of our favorite experiences on the trip. Kensington Market is an incredible neighborhood with a vibrant culture. We had a LOT of food on this tour. If you're thinking this will be sample size HAHA you're wrong.

The catamaran was smooth and clean. The food was wonderful. The captain and staff were friendly and engaging. We could have have asked for a more fun and educational experience around the island. The snorkeling was wonderful with tons of fish, corral and eels.

My husband and I went on the catamaran cruise during our honeymoon in Milos... exceptional experience! I can not recommend it enough! Beautiful views, crystal clear water, delicious food and awesome crew! A trip to Milos would not be complete without this cruise! 10/10!

Francesca, our guide, was super personable and knowledgeable about the city and legends of Venice. The tour started near the train station and followed through all the alleys and streets to San Marco Square. The weather and the sunset were absolutely beautiful as well.
