About

Reno

Known for its proximity to Lake Tahoe, Reno has a number of fun and exciting activities for visitors from around the world. Called the “biggest little city in the world” for a reason, from the bars, to the restaurants, to the live performances, the overall vibe here is what you would deem eclectic and certainly hot. There are also a ton of recreational/outdoor activities in Reno. During the day visitors can engage in hiking, biking, golf or exploring the beautiful scenery of Galena Creek Park. Skiing and snowboarding are extremely popular as the Tahoe area is home to some of the best slopes in the country, and with the Truckee River visitors can enjoy kayaking along with white water rafting. Reno though is most definitely a city known for its casinos. It is actually the birthplace of the world famous Harrah’s. Gamblers from all over enjoy the glitz of this region’s casino scene.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.
