There is more than 32 miles of shoreline to be exact, making this a water and sand lovers paradise. Because it’s a coastal region, Galveston gets tons of tourists every year, which means they offer plenty of activities and attractions. From the Pleasure Pier, to the museums, to its famed Mardi Gras festival, the area certainly knows how to entertain. In Galveston though, the beaches are king. Some of the more popular spots are located on the East End to include East, Porretto, and Stewart Beaches, while on the West side, you can find smaller, more intimate beach locales.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.
