A huge draw, the beaches of Mazatlan offer white sand and terrific opportunities for swimming, kayaking and snorkeling. There are even points at which you can swim with the sharks. Playa las Brujas offers some great surfing, while Playa Sabalo has many great little beach side restaurants.
Acapulco isn’t the only cliff diving hotspot in Mexico. El Clavadista has become quite popular for Cliff divers from all over. From 50’ up, the divers plunge into the waters beneath while wide-eyed tourists cheer them on!
The walkway that lines the Mazatlan waterfront, the Malecon really has come t be a symbol of the city. Spanning some 13 miles, the boardwalk offers views of the past as well as plenty of present action. People bike, walk and rollerblade while stopping at some of the best places in town to eat, drink and shop.
