WHY Coffee Triangle IS AWESOME
  • Cocora Valley

An incredibly beautiful day-long hike takes you through some of the country’s most exquisite scenery. Cutting through the mountains, the Cocora Valley is a great place to view the national tree: the Colombian Wax Palm.

  • Salento

Backed by gorgeous mountain scenery, this town is definitely what the Coffee Triangle is all about. You can see tradition and history in the streets and buildings. And with plenty of gourmet food (and of course world class coffee) you’ll certainly be satisfied.

  • Termales de Santa Rosa

The hub of spa tourism here, Termales de Santa Rosa offers an amazing hot spring set amid the lush tropical forest. Cascading falls and a stunning backdrop are all you need to totally relax.

  • Winter

The Coffee Triangle experiences two rainy seasons, the first one from March to May and the second from October to November. During these periods, the region receives more rainfall, which is crucial for the coffee crops. While the weather may be wetter, the Coffee Triangle's beauty comes alive with lush greenery and blooming coffee plants.

  • Summer

The dry seasons in the Coffee Triangle occur from December to February and from June to August. These are the best times to visit the region, as the weather is typically sunny and pleasant. The dry seasons offer excellent opportunities for coffee plantation tours, where visitors can learn about the coffee production process, from planting to harvesting. It's also an ideal time for outdoor activities, including hiking through the rolling hills and exploring the picturesque towns of Salento and Filandia.
