They will explain the dive plan, including the dive sites, maximum depths, duration, safety procedures, and any unique features or marine life you might encounter.
The dive guide will review important safety guidelines, hand signals, buddy system procedures, and emergency protocols. Pay close attention to their instructions and ask any questions you may have. Take in the beautiful views of the turquoise waters and the coastline while the boat crew prepares your equipment for entry. With the assistance of the boat crew, gear up and do a final equipment check. Explore the underwater realm, following the dive guide as they lead the group along the coral reefs. Cozumel's reefs are renowned for their colorful corals, abundant marine life, and excellent visibility.
Keep an eye out for various fish species, sea turtles, eagle rays, and other fascinating creatures that inhabit the area. Enjoy a leisurely dive with a dive time typically around 45-60 minutes or based on your remaining air supply, depth limits, and dive plan. Surface Interval: after the first dive, the boat will move to a different dive site for your second dive while you enjoy a surface interval. Take this time to relax, rehydrate, and share your diving experiences with fellow divers.
