Begin the day by meeting your friendly and knowledgeable guide in the city’s historic centre. You’ll take a short walk through Piazza del Duomo to see the cathedral, the Baptistery, and Giotto’s Bell Tower before making your first stop: The Accademia Gallery. With a guide, one hour is enough, especially with skip-the-line tickets. In that time, you’ll see Michelangelo’s incredible statue of David, his unfinished works Prigioni and San Matteo, and masterpieces by Botticelli, Paolo Uccello, and Andrea del Sarto.

You’ll go where the buses don’t fit, through pedestrian areas, and through tiny little streets. As well as the historic centre, you’ll cycle through the Oltrarno District and find lots of spots from which to admire the city.
