Tayrona National Park Hike
Embark on this challenging full day hike through the Tayrona National Park!
The Tayrona National Park Hike from Cartagena is a physically demanding experience for those who like adventure, nature, and challenges. It starts early in the morning and continues until late at night when you return to the hotel. You'll be driven 190 km (110 miles) there and back, 4 hours each way, and if you add to that 4 hours of trekking through a humid jungle, it is the perfect full-day tour.
It's definitely worth all of the driving since Tayrona National Park has the most beautiful landscapes you can see in nature! It has 37,000 acres of humid jungle, of which 7,400 acres are spectacular beaches that will take your breath away, you can also see birds, monkeys, and many more species of animals, and you may also meet indigenous Tayronas along the way.
This experience will take you to one of the most famous beaches in Tayrona National Park, Cabo San Juan. That is where you will eat your lunch, rest, and bathe in the sea before returning with 2 more hours of trekking back to your transportation for your return to Cartagena.
