Inshore fishing is excellent in Samara year round. You can expect to see cubera snapper, rock snapper, roosterfish, grouper, amberjack, jacks, horse eye jacks, blue jacks and sierra mackerel, among other inshore fish. Samara enjoys a yellowfin tuna bite arriving in early May. Dorado begins when the rains start in July and August. When the water is clear, Wahoos can sometimes take the bait.
