On this full-day tour, visitors get to travel southeast of San Pedro de Atacama to the beautiful Miñiques and Miscanti lagoons. Enjoy the splendid view of surrounding mountains and volcanos that create a breathtaking landscape, and stop for a short walk to appreciate the magnificent wildlife that inhabits it along with many species of birds. From there, tour guests will take the path to Socaire where they'll discover its streets and gastronomy by enjoying a delicious lunch at a typical local restaurant.
After lunch, return to San Pedro de Atacama where participants will get to visit the Laguna Chaxa located in the Salar de Atacama. Laguna Chaxa is inhabited by diverse and interesting wildlife such as three different types of flamingos. To finish the tour, stop at the village of Toconao, and learn and appreciate the history, culture, handcrafts, and architecture typical of this town located in the heart of the desert.
