In this mixed-bag tour in Belize, you travel for 50 minutes along the Old Northern Highway from Belize City. The Altun Ha Maya Temple is the closest excavated Maya Temple to Belize City near the Village of Rockstone Pond and is most visited by Belizean school children from all over the country. Its name means "Rockstone Water," and it has wide-open spaces. Due to this, the temples are accessible and easier to climb than Lamanai and Xunantunich.
After trekking an ancient home of the Maya, you'll head west for 90 minutes on the Western Highway for a Cave Tubing Adventure and Zip Line tour. Once at the outpost, you'll be given a basic orientation and safety briefing before heading off on a 30-minute hike to the cave system, which includes wading through a few knee-deep water streams.
