Visit Asa Wright Nature Centre, a 200-acre (80-ha) bird sanctuary in the middle of rainforest. Get picked up from your hotel in Port of Spain for the drive to the sanctuary, with stops for views of Port of Spain and the Gulf of Paria at the Lady Young Lookout along the way. Admire the majestic Northern Range mountains before the drive takes you along a narrow road through the rainforest.
