At the Tea Ceremony Experience in Hiroshima, you can immerse yourself in an authentic Chado experience. This tea room is not designed as a tourist attraction but as a place where local Chado learners gather daily to practice Urasenke Chado, the main school of Chado in Japan. Rather than a performance, you will witness and participate in a genuine tea ceremony, experiencing the tradition as it is practiced by those dedicated to mastering its art.

Japanese Chado has many elements that captivate people. The rich flavor of Matcha tea, the graceful postures and movements of well-trained hosts, the exquisite utensils and hanging scrolls showcasing traditional craftsmanship, the seasonal flowers, and the colorful sweets all come together to create a unique and immersive experience. Everything is carefully prepared to ensure you have the best possible time. The experience is conducted in either Japanese or English, and upon request, you can also learn the proper way to enjoy the sweet and Matcha tea.
