Balloon Flight Avon Valley with Perth Transfers Weekends and Holidays
Your experience with us begins bright and early—follow the sun and aim to be airborne just before dawn. As sunrise times shift throughout the year, you'll find that in the middle of winter, you will meet a little later than in summer. After a quick check-in, you'll hop into a vehicle and be driven to the day’s launch site. There are a number of take-off locations, decided on that morning's wind direction. Since hot air balloons drift with the breeze, they usually "fly in" to the valley by launching from an upwind location. If you’re keen, you’re welcome to help with the simple setup tasks—it’s all part of the fun. After landing, there’s a role for everyone in helping to pack the balloon away! The flight itself lasts around one hour. During that time, your pilot will gently guide the balloon using varying wind currents at different altitudes to find the best possible landing site. Ballooning is a wonderfully hands-on experience.
