Details

Discover the intense flavor of Hawaii's unique blossoms on this single-floral raw and organic Hawaiian honey tour. Three times a year, bees are moved to indulge in the nectar of a single type of flower blooming in a unique ecosystem on the remote Island of Hawaii. The pristine and rare geography of the island provide a favorable environment for floral fidelity, which results in remarkably pure and intense flavors unique to Hawaii.

During this open beehive demonstration, you will explore an actual hive and learn where the queen resides, how honey is made, and what makes bees so special and interesting, all from behind a safe, screened area. This tour includes a short video showing how the bees are kept and produce honey on the Big Island. You will have a honey tasting of the many single blossom Hawaiian honeys. After seeing the bees up close you'll have a much better appreciation for them.
