Birdwatching Muyil
On this bird-watching tour just 20 minutes south of Tulum, you will enjoy incredible bird diversity as you walk and look for birds in the village and archaeological site of Muyil. During the tour, you'll learn about the current Maya culture and the ancient Maya civilization Duration: 6 hours
You'll explore different habitats in the village with different types of vegetation: mature semi-deciduous jungle in the archaeological site of Muyil and some freshwater wetlands as you walk through the flooded jungle using a boardwalk until you reach a freshwater lagoon. It is possible to identify from 40 to 80 species of birds (depending on the time of the year).
