This is a full-day charter that offers lots of quality time to get in the zone through a tide cycle and capitalize on the bite. This marlin fishing is done very close to the Kona Coast in generally flat calm water. You will be fishing between one to five miles offshore.

Due to Kona's big volcanic mountains, there is good weather year-round and calm seas. The fish are also pushed in close to the island which means you can begin fishing shortly after leaving the harbor. 

This tour specializes in marlin fishing and release, and almost all of the billfish species unless it looks to be over 1,000 pounds. However, if you happen to catch an Ahi tuna or Wahoo, the guides are happy to give couples fillets to take with them.
