This trip is known for its great mix of whitewater adventure and breathtaking Rocky Mountain scenery. You’ll get stunning views of the Gore Range mountains – a line of craggy, sharp peaks north of Summit County – so be sure to bring your waterproof camera to capture the majesty.

Whitewater rafting on the Blue River includes a quick Class III, 1/3-day rafting trip sure to please everyone. This trip is operated under a permit on the White River National Forest. The Blue River runs best in May, June, and July. 

It is very important to wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet. Old tennis shoes, water shoes, and sandals with a heel strap are great. (No Crocs or flip-flops please.)

Note: The difficulty rating of this tour is moderate. There will be some physical exertion required. This tour requires high water flow to operate. The availability can differ from season to season.
