Begin the experience at the Ku’ia Estates Chocolate Factory in Lahaina before traveling to a private cacao estate nestled in the foothills of the West Maui Mountains. Spanning more than 20 acres of cacao trees, the estate offers an immersive “farm-to-bar” journey led by professional guides who introduce the cultivation and harvesting process behind Hawaiian chocolate production. Guests can explore the cacao groves, learn traditional harvesting techniques, and gain insight into the craftsmanship that transforms raw cacao into award-winning chocolate.

The experience concludes with an exclusive nine-piece chocolate tasting featuring a curated selection of signature creations, followed by an elegant dinner at Sale Pepe. The dining experience includes a choice of starter, entrée, dessert, and beverage, combining authentic Italian flavours with the rich culinary atmosphere of Maui. Blending education, tasting experiences, and fine dining, this tour offers a memorable exploration of Hawaiian cacao and local gastronomy.

Know Before You Go
  • Guests must be able to complete a slow 20+ minute walk through the grove on uneven and mulched ground and climb approximately 24 broad stairs with a railing, and please note that there is no room on the vehicles to store walkers.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the tour operator may cancel the tour, and guests will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  • Guests are advised to wear closed-toe shoes and light layers, and to bring sunscreen and bug spray, as this is an outdoor tour.
  • Please bring a credit or debit card for any purchases (no cash accepted).
  • The chocolate is produced in a nut-free facility, the dark chocolate is 100% dairy-free and vegan-friendly, and all chocolates are certified kosher annually by Chabad of Hawaii.
  • All attendees must complete and sign waivers before participating
