Capers Island Wildlife Exploration
Venture to Capers Island Heritage Preserve, a pristine barrier island only reachable by boat. You will cruise through winding tidal creeks to find diverse wildlife living in this salt marsh ecosystem. Common sightings include bottlenose dolphin, bald eagles, and numerous shore and wading birds. Along the way your guide will employ nets and traps for an up-close look at some of the marine life that thrives below the surface. As you arrive on the island, you are free to explore it's pristine "Boneyard Beach" and interior trails and ponds. Duration: 3.5 Hours
