Catalina Island and Alto de Chavon
The tour begins at the Pier in La Romana for boarding and departure to La Isla. The first activity as part of the tour is to go to the snorkel site or La Pared, as it is commonly known. This snorkeling area has the most interesting coral reef on the entire island, with the largest variety of live corals, fish, and crustaceans, among other marine species as it is protected in addition to being listed as a National Park. Once the snorkel is finished, you continue the journey until you reach Catalina Island, its crystal clear waters and white sands await you, on a cozy beach, where you can enjoy its surroundings and a delicious typical Dominican lunch and drinks to make a day relaxing and totally enjoyable. You can also enjoy a visit to Altos de Chavón, a small Villa built in the Mediterranean style of the 16th century, and is one of the most important tourist attractions in the region. There are several Art Schools, an Amphitheater for great artistic events, and of course, from there you get the best view of the Chavón River.
