Morris Island Lighthouse Eco Cruise
Board a Carolina Skiff bay boat and wind through pristine tidal creeks out to Morris Island. Enjoy the six-mile cruise out to an uninhabited barrier island, as the captain points out and discusses native wildlife, local history, and the diverse eco-systems of the Lowcountry. Along the way tour guests may see wild Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, wading birds, oyster flats, and more. Once the tour arrives at the island, participants will have around 45 minutes to explore the beach in search of shells and soak in spectacular views of the historic lighthouse.
After beach combing, return to the boat and wind through the salt mash back to the dock. The Morris Island Lighthouse Tour allows guests to view picturesque marshland, walk down a natural beach, photograph the historic Morris Island lighthouse, and see wild dolphins all in one trip.
Note: Good to bring water, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, a camera, and a bag for shells.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
