Gold Belt Jeep Tour
Known as America's Greatest Gold Camp, these towns had over 500 mines which produced over 21 million ounces of gold, exceeding the combined production of the California and Alaska Gold Rushes. This tour follows the Cripple Creek and Florence Railroad route, built in 1894, past abandoned mines and a state-of-the-art open-pit gold mine still in use today… the world's 4th largest gold mine!
Lunch is included in historic Victor, Colorado. The descent back will follow an old stagecoach road which has been described as "a rough and rugged, backcountry, mountainous drive for the adventuresome."
Experience epic views on the Gold Belt Tour with expert guides, petroglyphs, wildlife, and a visit to historic dino dig sites in Garden Park. Stunning in autumn with colorful Aspen foliage.
