Ever day dreams of being a cowboy/girl, riding through the field under a blue sky without end, herding cattle and horses, and enjoying the freedom of open spaces? Then this is the opportunity to do just that at the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Tour guests have to get up early to work on a farm - at 5:45 a.m.! Start by milking the cows so the fresh milk will arrive in the restaurant every morning to be processed and served at breakfast. After milking, participants can go to breakfast at the restaurant and return to get ready to ride on the farm.

The tour varies depending on the tasks that must be performed that day. Some of the activities include working in the stables and the corral, saddling and preparing horses, herding cattle and horses, checking cattle in distant pastures, repairing fences, etc. A picnic lunch is included.

The tours are guided by one of the experienced sabaneros at Hacienda Guachipelin. All participants must wear helmets. It is recommended to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants or shorts that reach the knee.
