Koh Yao Cycling Full Day
A guided cycling and island tour of Koh Yao Noi from Phuket. Includes boat transfers, village cycling, farm visit, beach lunch, and coastal views.
Begin your experience with a convenient hotel transfer by van to Bang Rong Pier, a peaceful coastal port surrounded by mangrove forests and primarily used by traditional longtail boats. From here, enjoy a scenic boat journey to Koh Yao Noi, a tranquil island neighbor of Phuket, with travel time ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on boat conditions.
Upon arrival, begin a guided cycling route of approximately 12 km through Koh Yao Noi’s scenic countryside, passing through local market towns, mangrove forests, rubber plantations, and traditional stilted fishing villages. The ride continues across open landscapes filled with rice paddies, especially picturesque between July and December. A visit to a family-run farm offers insight into sustainable agriculture, along with a refreshing coconut juice break. At midday, enjoy a Thai lunch at a beachfront restaurant overlooking the Andaman Sea, followed by free time to relax on the beach or walk to a nearby islet during low tide.
The afternoon continues with a 10 km cycling route along the island’s east coast, featuring paved roads, sweeping ocean views, and distant sights of the Phi Phi Islands on clear days, along with a stop at a palm oil plantation. The experience blends nature, local culture, and coastal scenery, with flexible support available via local taxi if needed. The total cycling distance is approximately 22 km, with occasional hidden trails along the route.
