The Grand Lake Nordic Center is located near the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and offers ski trails for the beginner to advanced skier, through lodgepole pine forests and along the headwaters of the Colorado River. This experience provides trail passes and equipment rentals for the day.

The Nordic Center is typically open from early December to late March and offers Classic Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and a tubing hill. The Sly Fox Restaurant is open Friday-Sunday with a full bar, house-made soups and chili and hot chocolate, complete with a seat by the fireplace.
