Death Valley Tour
Death Valley's majestic mountains, colorful canyons, volcanic craters, and salt pinnacles make this trip a photographer/sightseer's dream come true. For the truly adventurous, this tour is not only offered in spring, fall, and winter, but also throughout the summer months. The tour group and the professional guide will ride in air-conditioned comfort to the viewpoints in a luxury seven-passenger 4×4 SUV's or 12 & 14 Passenger VIP Mini Coaches.
Standing at the entrance to Death Valley, the tour has their first photo stop at the old Ghost Town of Rhyolite, a long abandoned gold mining town and the set for many movies and documentaries. Then drive down a beautiful winding highway and enter the center of Death Valley from the east; this is like entering a strange and foreign world similar to the surface of Mars. The endless desert, vast valleys, harshly sculpted peaks, garish colors, superbly adapted plants and animals – all are visible expressions of geologic time reckoned in millions of years.
Note: Please wear hiking or athletic walking shoes. Temperatures are cooler from October to February so long pants and a warm jacket are appropriate. March to September temperatures are warm where shorts, hat, and light shirt are comfortable.
Please note: Pickups start approximately 1 hour prior to tour start time. Passengers MUST communicate with the reservation/dispatch office at 702 - 889 - 8687 the day before the tour to get updated pickup instructions.
