The paved Centennial Trail follows along beautiful Coeur d'Alene Lake, and goes all the way to the state border in Spokane, WA. It is a great way to take in the downtown area, cutting through McEuen Park, City Park, and even the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Four hours is the perfect amount of time to take it all in, including a stop for a drink or a bite to eat.
From the lot, you can also head east around the lake to Higgins Point, with its beautiful views, or take off eastbound through the parks and follow the trail along the beautiful Spokane River. Along the way, you can stop at the Riverstone Shopping Center for a nice lunch or a snack. The shop is located just two blocks from the beautiful Centennial Trail with 33 miles of dedicated paved bicycle paths along the Lake Coeur d'Alene shoreline.
