On this Secret Food Tour: Florence, participants will be introduced to the real Florence, away from the tourist traps and the museums, where they can visit the local market, taste the local olive oil, sample a selection of the best traditional salamis and cheeses paired with the best local wines, and more.
Highlights of this tour include a stop by one of the most beautiful cafès in the city to learn how local Florentines do breakfast, visit one of the oldest bakeries in the city (1849) and try a traditional schiacciata, and cool off with a fresh gelato and a cacao seed. At the end of the tour, participants will have sampled some of Florence's most delicious dishes and gained a better understanding of the culture and history.
All the food will be served with quality drinks or, if guests prefer, non-alcoholic beverages. A thoughtfully curated Upgraded Drinks Package is available. This is a public tour with a maximum of ten participants and includes eight stops.
