From Athens: Explore Aegina Island by Bike

Cycle to the port of Piraeus, where the ferries for Aegina depart from. Next, ride a ferry for about 1.5 hours and once arrived at Aegina, start cycling by the sea to reach the ancient Temple of Apollo. Cycling the North coastline going through Souvala and continue towards Vagia, you will climb the hill which leads to the temple of Aphaia, a must-see archeological site. Cycling down towards Agia Marina comes next and it'll take you to a wonderful beach of sand and green waters. This is where you're going to take a small break to relax, swim and chill at the beach. Next, ride uphill for a bit and through the beautiful pine forest of Aegina. You'll reach the big Monastery of Agios Nektarios and that's where the return will start. At the Port of Aegina the ride will be over and you will enjoy a lovely meal by the sea until it's time to get on the ferry and leave for Piraeus. Arriving Piraeus you will cycle back to the starting point the same way you started.
