Begin your day trip with a two-hour drive from the hustle and bustle capital of Hanoi to the quiet and beautiful Ninh Binh countryside.

Your first stop is Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam during the Dinh Dynasty. You will visit the Dinh & Le Temples and dive into Vietnam feudalism history.

Next, it is time for a wonderful guided bike ride through the area to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery as you ride along the back roads with lime karts towering above, rice paddies, and local family homes.

Following your bike ride, you will stop at a local family home for a traditional lunch where you can treat yourself to a cold beer with some local delicacies before visiting the must-see Tam Coc.

Here, you will do a row-boat ride passing the serene rice paddies, caves and the surrounding limestone karsts along winding Ngo Dong river. After the boat trip, you will begin your journey back to Hanoi.
