This food tour starts at the magnificent Romanesque St. Anthony of Padua Church, built in 1888. It is the first Italian and Italian-speaking Roman Catholic Church in the United States. Greg’s great-great Italian-American grandparents, Giuseppe Mare and Maria nee Radice, settled in New York City in 1884, before Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty’s construction. Greg bursts into song at any moment for maximum fun.  Greenwich Village neighborhood comes alive with food, stories, music, and fun peppered with Greg’s personal Italian American family stories.
