Guatin Cardón Cactus Trek
Experience emotions of delight while observing the typical flora at Guatín, a place where two rivers meet, on this four-hour trek. The two rivers, Puripica and Puritama, both form into one, the Vilama River, at this beautiful location. This is a place of high importance due to the large amounts of Cactus "Cardón" that live there, along with other species of cactus. They share this ideal habitat and it protects them from the electrical storms which have almost entirely destroyed their species. This is considered as a trek of medium difficulty. It can be done by any person who likes to walk, with the help of the guide it can be done without any risk.
Be sure to carry mineral water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a windbreaker jacket, cap or hat, and appropriate shoes for natural ground walking.
