Pressed for time but eager to kayak among pelagic wildlife in the shadow of Mt. Baker? Explore the serene waters and tidal zone of Griffin Bay as you circumnavigate Dinner Island with views of the Olympic Mountains cresting above Cattle Pass. Door-to-door in three hours, there will be plenty of time to catch a bite in Friday Harbor before your next adventure. 

The morning kayak tour starts at 10:45. What a delightful way to start your San Juan Island day (better even than coffee, gasp!?) with a fun, leisurely loop around Griffin Bay and scenic Dinner Island as you keep a sharp lookout for seals and bald eagles.

The afternoon tour starts at 2:30. Come kayak during the lazy, idyllic part of the day when the sun is at its zenith and you’re able to experience exceptional views of glaciated Mt. Baker.

Be sure to bring a water bottle, sunglasses and/or hat, sunscreen, quick dry clothing, extra layers, and sandals that can get wet.
