Half-Day Scenic Colorado Float Trip
On this half-day rafting trip, you'll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim, or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The morning 1/2 day Scenic Float even includes a riverside lunch at the end of your trip! AVA is a Licensed River Outfitter – Issued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
The Colorado float half-day trip is available for two departures per day. This trip departs from the Kremmling Outpost where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. The trip runs from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium.
Note: This is a five-mile float trip for all ages and ability levels. The difficulty rating of this experience is mild. Some physical activity may be required. It is very important to wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet. Old tennis shoes, water shoes, and sandals with a heel strap are great. (No crocs or flip-flops please.)
