Hike and Bike the Columbia River Gorge
See the waterfalls of the Columbia Gorge in the most intimate and carefree manner possible: by bike and hike. You will be transported in comfortable a van and your guides will ride with you. Groups are split into small groups, so you'll get personal attention and the safest experience we can provide. This tour also visits Multnomah Falls — the most visited tourist attraction in Oregon.
After being fit for your bikes, you'll take about a 30-minute drive into the Columbia River Gorge, east of Portland. Here you'll start at a stunning vista of the gorge and get on the bikes to ride along the Historic Columbia River Highway to other viewpoints and points of interest. This bike ride is five to eight miles of biking along gentle, curving, scenic downhills leading you to a number of waterfall hikes (two to three miles total). On some days, after the hike, the group will ride another two to three miles to another beautiful viewpoint of the Columbia Gorge.
This tour also provides the most active hiking and waterfall visits you will not see on other tours. Around Portland Tours keep their tours to eight riders, for maximum safety and comfort.
