Hiking Amorgos - Melania Route

Upon departing from Vigla Hotel which is the starting point, you'll head towards village Lagada. Breathe in refreshing salty air and enjoy a moderate hike. It is the perfect option for immersing yourself in the sublime landscape of Aegiali Bay. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for charming baby goats or cute donkeys along your way.
You can either take the route to Stroumbos village or the other one to the famous Panagia Epanochoriani Church (dedicated to the Virgin Mary) that many believers visit during the great festival that takes place on August 15. The next stop is a traditional cafe for a cup of coffee or a fresh traditional sweet treat.
Last but not least, the visit to the remarkable small church of Agia Triada (the Holy Trinity) is a must-see attraction that was initially built to protect from raids.
