Hiroshima and Miyajima Day Trip and Ferry Ride (from Tokyo)
Take the bullet train from Tokyo and set out on a memorable journey to two of Japan's most iconic destinations: Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. The tour starts in Hiroshima at the Peace Memorial Park, where the Atomic Bomb Dome and other monuments offer a powerful reminder of the past and a tribute to peace and resilience.
Then take a ferry to the serene island of Miyajima, home to the famous Itsukushima Shrine and its iconic floating torii gate. Stroll through charming streets, explore historic temples, sample local treats like oysters and maple leaf-shaped sweets, and encounter friendly deer roaming freely.
Please note: The journey from Tokyo to Hiroshima will be done on your own. Your train tickets will be sent to you with the train departure time the day before your tour. Once you arrive in Hiroshima, the guide will be waiting for you at the meeting location: Hiroshima Station (Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth, 1 Matsubaracho, Minami Ward, Hiroshima).
