Know Before You Go
  • You'll bike 13 miles ( 21 KM ). This tour is considered easy with an electric bike and requires an average fitness level.
  • Guests should be able to comfortably ride a bike, be in good health, and enjoy riding a bike.
  • Please bring closed-toed shoes, comfortable shirt and shorts/pants, jacket/windbreaker or sweatshirt (weather depending), money for gratuity, and a camera.
  • Check in begins at 9:30 am. Departure is at 10 am sharp. As this is a shared tour, your guide will not be able to wait for late comers. This is LA, there is ALWAYS traffic, so please plan ahead and arrive early.
  • Storage can be provided while on your tour.
  • Bikes and Hikes LA Tours is located at 7740 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069. Their shop is in the heart of West Hollywood at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Genesee.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Gratuity for your tour guide is not included. 15 - 20% is suggested depending on your satisfaction. All of Bikes and Hikes LA tour guides are expert bikers and also extremely knowledgeable on all safety procedures and LA traffic rules and regulations.
  • It is suggested that you use a ride share service such as Uber of Lyft to get to the meeting point. However, if you do choose to drive, there is free parking on the side streets Genesee and Spaulding (just read signs carefully).
  • If you choose to travel via mass transit, both Google Maps and Apple Maps include public transportation options for the greater Los Angeles Area and can navigate you directly to the meeting point.
  • Directions: Type the words "Greek Theater" into GPS rather than the physical address for most effective search result. Make sure your GPS (or driver's GPS) is dropping you off at THE GREEK THEATER BOX OFFICE (and NOT the Observatory ); you’ll know you're at the Greek Theater Box Office as there is a giant LED screen above it promoting upcoming events at the Greek Theater. You’ll meet your guide in front of the box office.
