Know Before You Go
  • There is free parking available near the Hollywood Sign.
  • Fitness Level: Easy to Moderate. Guests should enjoy exercise, be in good health, and be able to walk 4 MI /6.4 KM . Children should be 5+ years of age, and able to hike.
  • You'll be walking 4 miles (6.4 KM ) along what is widely considered to be an easy to moderate trail.
  • Guests must provide their own water for this tour. You are encouraged to bring 2 bottles of water, and to hydrate before, during, and after the hike, especially important in the warm summer months!
  • Please bring water (24 oz or more per person), a comfortable shirt and shorts/pants, jacket/windbreaker or sweatshirt (check the weather), closed-toe shoes with good tread, sunglasses, hat, and sunblock. Don’t forget your camera!
  • PLEASE NOTE: Gratuity for your tour guide is not included. 15 - 20% is suggested depending on your satisfaction. All of Bikes and Hikes LA tour guides are expert bikers and also extremely knowledgeable on all safety procedures and LA traffic rules and regulations.
  • Check in begins 15 minutes before tour departure. Your guides can not wait for latecomers as this is a shared tour. Arrive early - LA is notorious for its traffic!
  • Storage can not be provided for this experience, so plan accordingly.
  • It is suggested to use a ride share service as it is the easiest way to get around an unfamiliar city. However, if you are driving, there is usually ample street parking available at the meeting point.
  • Mass transit does NOT travel close to the meeting point.
