Hoover Dam Private Tour
Discover Hoover Dam’s history on a guided tour with photo stops at Lake Mead and the Las Vegas sign!
You will stand before the Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam, rising an impressive 726 feet above the powerful Colorado River as it flows between Arizona and Nevada. Built during the Great Depression between 1931 and 1936, this engineering marvel will span Black Canyon and will represent an extraordinary human effort, involving thousands of workers and costing more than one hundred lives.
You will enjoy incredible photo opportunities from the bypass bridge as you look down on the dam, then will stroll across the structure into Arizona before taking part in an included, in-depth (non-private) tour of its inner workings. Your experience will include a photo stop at the Lake Mead overlook, where you view the largest reservoir in the United States, and a final stop at the world-famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign as you return to your hotel.
