You will stand before the Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam, rising an impressive 726 feet above the powerful Colorado River as it flows between Arizona and Nevada. Built during the Great Depression between 1931 and 1936, this engineering marvel will span Black Canyon and will represent an extraordinary human effort, involving thousands of workers and costing more than one hundred lives.

You will enjoy incredible photo opportunities from the bypass bridge as you look down on the dam, then will stroll across the structure into Arizona before taking part in an included, in-depth (non-private) tour of its inner workings.
