Hummingbird Observatory Tour
At an altitude of 3000 m (9842 ft), these gardens are home to over 14 species of hummingbirds, along with many other birds as well. This small Andino forest is a sanctuary from any contamination of nearby crops and the de-forestation produced by man.
Walking through the gardens you'll find many wonderful flowering trees, bushes, and bird feeders that were planted with the sole purpose of providing a refuge for these rainbow-colored feathered friends.
Relaxing, and taking your time here, you'll find many many opportunities to take some wonderful photos of these beautiful birds before heading back down the hill, with one more stop along the way at a lookout overlooking the grand city of Bogotá far below.
