Start this tour in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and take the urban transport south of the city, just as the locals do! After a 15-minute drive, you will get off the bus and start walking in the tropical forest. You will get to know many different plants and animals and learn about the river. You will follow a rough path that changes depending on the amount of rain that has fallen and that crosses the river multiple times.

After one hour of hiking and some impressive views up in the mountains, you reach the first waterfall. Here you can take pictures, rest a bit, and have water and fruit.
Between the rocks, you can have a refreshing swim with the fish in the small lake.

For the ones that are still not satisfied, you will take another path up to the next set of waterfalls. The hike ends at a lookout high above the jungle with a spectacular view over the bay!
