Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama Day Trip from Tokyo
This tour includes the Great Buddha, temples, shopping streets, Japan’s largest Chinatown, and harbor views.
After being picked up from your hotel, head to a scenic coastal town on Sagami Bay, connected to the mainland by a bridge. Explore Enoshima Shrine and take in sweeping views from the Sea Candle lighthouse and observation deck (entry fee not included), then sample local street food and cafes (at your own expense). Continue to Kōtoku-in Temple, home to the 13-meter Great Buddha, with an optional stroll to Hase-dera Temple, known for its hydrangeas and city views.
Next, head to Yokahama, where a traditional shopping street offers local eats, souvenirs, and snack shops, making it a perfect lunch stop with soba or udon restaurants. The journey continues to Japan’s largest Chinatown, featuring more than 600 shops, the colorful Kanteibyo Temple, and endless street food and desserts. End at the historic warehouse district, now a trendy cultural hub with shopping, harbor views, and photo-worthy backdrops.
