You’ll launch your kayak from the beach and paddle past the waves into the La Jolla Ecological Reserve, one of California’s top snorkeling spots, as your guide shares insights about the area’s history, wildlife, and geology while leading you along the coastline toward the day’s ideal snorkeling location.

Once anchored, you’ll dive into clear water to explore kelp forests and swim among garibaldi, sea lions, bat rays, and shovel-nose guitarfish, with the chance to spot sea turtles or dolphins, all while enjoying views of the towering Seven Sea Caves from the water; basic swimming ability is required, but no prior snorkeling experience is needed.
