The Ocean tour leaves from the dock and proceeds out of the calm mouth of the river to access the large kelp forests, rocky habitat, and prominent Chetco Point. This headland protects the ocean waters in the area from the swells and wind providing amazing wildlife viewing and fishing opportunities.
